What I've been up to
since leaving Roosy:__When I left in 1989, we moved to Central Florida and I
finished High School there. That is
where I met my high school sweetheart and we are now married, what a blessing he
is, funny how fate works sometimes. He
is in the Navy and we are stationed here in Jacksonville, FL until 2002.
My step-daughter is such a joy to us, and we also hope to overcome
infertility and have a child together. To
try and keep this short, because I have been known to go on and on…I am very
greatful that I had 4 loaded with memory years in PR. I learned a lot while living there, including how to make
lifelong lasting friendships no matter where in the world you are, how to ride
horses, which taught me responsibility and was tons of FUN, and definitely how
to get in trouble(haha).. I
have been in touch with a number of people from Roosey over the years and am
ever so greatful for Laura who has helped me and I’m sure so many others find
people who we had thought were lost. I
wanted to make it to the reunion to personally say “THANKS” but as unable to
go, hopefully I’ll be at the next one.
