Susanne Gregory

Hello my friends. It's been about 40 years since I seen or talked to any
of you. Many of you may remember me as a lifeguard at the Officer's
Pool. I attended RRHS from 196l-1964.
I left at the end of my Junior year when my father was transferred to
Davisville, R.I. I moved to Waller, Texas to live with my
Grandmother, and graduated from Waller High School in 1965. I then
enlisted in the Navy and was stationed at Quonset Point, R.I. When I was
discharged in 1968 I moved to Providence, R.I. and worked for WJAR Radio
and Television Station. In 1969 I was recruited by the Civil
Service for a job in the Pentagon. I married George Gregory in 1971 and
continued to work for the Department of Defense in various Washington, D.C.
locations. In 1975 things changed drastically. I was honored to be in
the first group of women hired by the UNITED STATES CAPITOL POLICE,
followed by over six months of the police academy at the Federal Law
Enforcement Training Center (FLETCC). After over 22 years of police work,
I retired in 1997 (at the ripe old age of 50)with over 31 years of government
service.
George and I are both retired now and living in his home town of Virginia
Beach. This retirement thing is great -- 365 paid holidays a
year! I love it.
I'd love the receive e-mail from all of you, as I have time to answer.
Blessings to all of you!
Sincerely, Susanne.
