When I left PR in '89 my family and I moved to Pensacola, FL.  I graduated from high school there and attended college at the University if West Florida where I received my BA in Pre-k/Primary Education.  I met my husband, Errick (who is a blonde haired, blue eyed Puerto Rican!), at FSU on April 1, 1995 while I was visiting Steve, Robin, Cyndi, Lisa, and whoever else was there!  (I really don't remember much of the visit!)  Errick was Lisa's lab partner.  Thank you Lisa!  In '97 I moved to Orlando to teach first grade.  While I was there I also worked at EPCOT.  I hated it so much there that I moved to Clearwater (Tampa area) with Errick.  We lived together for a while but then broke up in 2000.  I moved out on my own for 2 years.  Errick and I got back together in September of 2001.  In May of 2002 I had major surgery that followed by major complications that landed me back in the hospital for 3 more weeks.  I had blood clots that went to my lungs and almost killed me.  Errick was by my side the entire time.  While I was in the hospital, he moved me out of my apartment and into his house.  He decided that we should finally get married and did so within 6 weeks.  Something that I had been waiting for for 7 1/2 years!  I recently transfered to an elementary school closer to home and I teach kindergarten.  Errick teaches high school Chemistry and Physical Science.  On June 1, 2004 we welcomed our first son, Aydenn Maddox, into the world.  I  now have my very own mimi blonde haired, blue eyed Puerto Rican!! :)  He is a joy and the best thing that we ever did, besides get married of course.   And that is the story, so far, of my very own fairy tale.  :)
