Reader's Digest Condensed Version:
I live in Palm Bay, Florida.
I'm a Program Manager at Software Technology, Inc.
Married (wife Patti), with two kids (Amanda - 10, and Luke - 4)
The longer story:
After graduating from RRHS, I went to College at Florida Institute
of Technology were I received my BS in Computer Science '83.
The
first year at FIT was the turning point in my life ... at 16yrs, and
only
4' 11" and 95lbs, I was definitely the youngest-looking
kid at school. God must have had a sense of humor at the time,
because my roommate in the dorm was a 6'4" 250lb ex-lineman from
Columbia University. But as luck would have it, it turned out
great -
together we joined a fraternity (AEPi), and I quickly discovered that
I was much more extroverted than I thought ... maybe the
mass consumption of alcohol helped a bit :)
It wasn't long before my second growth spurt kicked in and I grew
another foot and put on some much needed weight - not too much though,
even now I'm only at 155. At AEPi I met Patti ... my "Big Sis".
We dated, and got married in '83. I got a job working
for a company called "Harris", and went back to FIT for a Masters
in Computer Science. After 13 years at Harris, I moved on to
a
company called "Scientific-Atlanta", that had an office in the
Melbourne FL area. I was R&D manager for close to two years,at
SA, then moved on to Software Technology, Inc. - a subsidiary of
Exigent International - whose headquarters are based here.
Patti and I have two wonderful kids. Amanda (10), and Luke (4).
Amanda is Ms. popularity at school. She's basically a "natural"
at everything she trys out for and is Ms. Popularity at school.
Luke is one of the most caring and easy-going kid I've ever seen.
He extremely gifted in baseball.
Patti recently found her "calling" in life, and is going for her
Masters in Elementary Education. She volunteers often at
school and has kids lining up for the day she becomes a
teacher.
My sister, Cindy Larson also went to RRHS. Sadly, she
died in a tragic car accident here in Florida in '90 after
deciding to move away from PR and be closer to her big 'Bro.
Her two kids (Gabriel and Eros) live here in Palm Bay -
Gabriel is married, and Eros lives with my Mom and Dad.
