Hi my name is Ruby Phillips I attended RHHS.  And I graduated in 1978.  However when I attended RHHS.  My name was Roger Sola. This is a short version of what I did after graduation.  I was offered a scholarship to Bristol Virginia which I didn't go to.  Two days before I was suppose to go off to college I joined the Navy.  Trying to be that man that everyone wanted me to be.  I lasted two years in the navy became a Hospital Corpsman.  And I was discharged from the Navy after informing them that I was going to have a sex change operation.  Upon leaving the Navy I met this guy who also was in the navy and at the age of 20 and now a woman I got married.  I was married for 5 years.  While I was married I attended Norfolk College got a degree in Computers and I also went to Cosmetology School and became a licensed Cosmetologist.  After divorcing my husband I moved to Washington, DC.  I went back to school and I got another degree in travel and tourism.  I did some modeling and touring the US.  I felt I needed a change of pace so in 1989 I moved to San Diego, CA  and here I got back into nursing.  It's funny I have done so many things in my life this is just a short version I have enough information to fill a book and it would make a very interesting one at that.  I have made a good life for my self I have enough money to life comfortably and at my young age I can afford the luxury of being able to be retired.  I have good memories and bad of RHHS.  If anyone out there would like know more please feel free to drop me a line.  I also have a 1978 yearbook in mint condition and may pictures of RHHS.  .Ruby
