We have had a little bit of excitement with a baby chimp living with us for
the past month. His name is Mowgli - from the Jungle Book. The maintenance
crew gave the country manager a chimp for his birthday. He of course didn't
want it. It's mother was killed for food by loggers on the mainland. The
maintenance foreman was given the chimp and he snuck it over here to
Malabo. The IT guys have been caring for it while we get permission from
Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon to transport the chimp to Cameroon where
they have a chimp orphanage. Picture isn't too good,...he was real sleepy
so I put in a previous one also.
