I was in RR from April 1962-January 1965.  We lived at 50 Ranger Road.  I was in 4th through 7th grades while there.  We moved to Patuxent River Maryland and then on to Moffit Field, Calif.  near San Jose.  Then dad was transferred to NAS North Island at San Diego.  He retired there, and was going to move to Indiana.  I begged him to stay for my senior year so I didn't have to change schools again.  13 schools in 12 years was enough.

 

Moved to Indiana in 1970, right after graduation.  Got married in 1971, divorced in 1974.  Had one son, DeWayne.  Worked in factories, hated it.  Had another son in 1982, Jonathan.  Stayed single until 1985.  Married the love of my life.  Had one more son, Nathaniel.

 

My husband had lost his factory job and was going to college in 1986, so I went to.  Nathaniel was 8 weeks old when we started.  I earned an AS in Paralegal Studies and a BS in Criminology.  I graduated from college the same year my oldest graduated from high school.  I did two years of graduate study in Criminology.  Have been elected to city council, so have been in politics too.  Worked for defense attorneys and prosecutors.  I am now a legal/medical advocate for a rape crisis center in Robinson, Illinois where I now live with my husband.
