Contrary to what most people thought...  I made it through Marine Corps
Boot Camp, although I did almost loose Jeff Bryant at one point.  From
there Jeff and I went to Marine Combat Training together.  We said our
good-byes four weeks later and headed out to our specialty schools.
Avionics training on F/A-18 Hornets for me, and Field Radio Operator for
Jeff (poor guy!).  I decided to make a career of the Marine Corps and am
now a Staff Sergeant stationed at MCAS Beaufort.  I've seen Jeff Bryant
once since MCT, but was afforded the opportunity to serve with Manuel
Carpio in an Amphibious Assault Battalion for a brief stint.  I have a
four year old son from a very short marriage.  Fortunately for me, I got
custody.  So Jeffrey (my son) and I spend most of our days at the park or
walking our stubborn puppy.  Nothing is sweeter in life than when your
son looks up to you after you just tied his shoes and tells you that he loves
you.  Life is definitely good here in South Carolina.
