We left P.R. in 1978, I was in the 8th grade. We moved to upstate N.Y. where I finished High School,graduated in 1983.I went to Nursing school in Albany N.Y.After college I moved to Charleston S.C.where I worked as an ICU nurse for 5 years.I didn't have family there, my brother was in Texas, so I packed up my horse and my belongings and moved to Texas,Houston.I have been here ever since working in ICU and Education.I married a wonderful M.D.,Feb,1999. We have no children,only a dog and a horse.
