My name is Green Fountain, but when I was at RRHS I went by the first name Ken. I attended RRHS from '71-'76 and graduated in June of '76. After graduation, we moved back to the states and I went into the Army in Oct '76 and spent a year in a recon platoon in the 82nd Airborne Div. and then volunteered for Special Forces. I stayed in Special Forces until I got out in Oct '80. Went to school for awhile and goofed off for a year, then went back into the Army in Nov '81. Served in Special Forces, mostly as an instructor at Camp Mackall, until Jan '88. Got out and went to work for a drug task force in south Alabama as an undercover narcotics agent. Did that for a year and then worked in uniform as a police officer. In July '90 started work with the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and I've been with them up to this time. With the ABC Board, I've spent about 80-90% of my time working undercover narcotics. The rest of the time we chase bootleggers and moonshiners and search the woods for moonshine stills. We also work prostitution and gambling. All of the really good vices! I look forward to the yearbook and seeing what all of my old friends are doing.
