Jon Dowling, class of 1977 Although I feel like I just graduated from high school yesterday, I guess it was actually over 20 years ago - a fact I realize each morning when I look at the old guy in the mirror. Upon graduating from Rosey I went on to gain refinement and culture at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. I was hooked on the professionalism, comradre and esprite de corps of the Army and have stayed on past my planned 5 years and out (actually, I love the fancy $5 haircuts I get every two weeks). I managed to get a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology. My highlights in life include the marriage to my wife Peggy in 1984 (a LA Woman who runs marathons, body builds and is a psychologist) and the birth of each of my four children, Brittany (14), Karly (11), Colton (9), and Brock (6). I managed to play in a European Rugby League for several years. However, a result of my passion for rugby was six knee operations, all on the same knee. I now do the occasional sprint triathlon and love to snow ski with my family. Other than my wife, my two best friends in the world remain as they were in high school, my brothers Chris Dowling and Gerry Black. I currently reside in London, England. I retire next year, after which I will have to get a real job - hopefully in either Colorado or California.
