I've been with the Tampa Police Department for 15 1/2 years, the last 6 of which I have been assigned to the aviation squad.  I'm assigned as a pilot, flying fixed-wing and helicopter operation (mostly helo flying).  

We left Roosy in '76 when dad retired and moved here to Tampa.  After high school, I did the Coast Guard thing for a couple of years, then got hired here.  In '86 I briefly was a member of the Army reserve...but no more.
