How very lucky we all were to be able to be teenagers in paradise.  My many fond memories of Roosey & all our shenanigans have brought me quite a few laughs &  smiles over the years.  After graduating in 1972 I lived in California ’s upper Mojave Desert , San Diego , Boston , & The Bahamas.  I settled in San Diego in 1975 & haven’t left since.  I’ve been extremely fortunate that Bev Smith & Carlos Powell & I have remained the best of friends for 30 years – we have lived together, raised our children together, been through many ups & downs & talk or see one another almost daily.

I’ve seen several of my Roosey classmates over the years especially those who also lived in San Diego … Mark Faucett, Ralph Majors (anyone have a clue where he lives these days?), Helen Vita (it’s been ages since we’ve seen one another & we only live 45 mins. apart – shame on us),  Brenda & Arlene Vistro (where are you two by the way?), Vicky Pryor (before she left San Diego), John Hughes on his trips out to San Diego (nice lunches & chats), Yolaine Hudson & Myrna Pascual (we’ve got to have a San Diego reunion)!!!   

I have been an Account Executive & Marketing Director at many advertising agencies in San Diego over the past 28 years.  I am currently doing Marketing & Corporate Fund Raising for the San Diego Opera which I love. 

I have a beautiful 18-1/2 year old daughter, Whitney Rose, who is attending Cuyamaca College in East San Diego with her sites on becoming a CPA.  She just recently moved into her own apartment so I’m experiencing a little empty nest syndrome but she’s a great kid & we are very close.

After several attempts at the marriage thing (HAH) I found my Prince Charming in the brother of a good friend of 6 years.  We were married this past New Year’s Eve at midnight.   Dale is a definite keeper!  We have a beautiful home in Lemon Grove that we are restoring while raising his 15 year old son who lives with us.   

Life is very, very good!
