I left Roosevelt Roads in 1980 when my dad was to transferred Pensacola, FL.  I graduated from high school (1982) and attended Florida State University graduating in 1986 with a BS in Marketing Communications.  My  job brought me to Birmingham, AL in April, 1987; I met my future husband, Steve, in June, 1987; and, I have been here ever since.  Steve and I married in July, 1995 and we have two sons, Alex (10/7/96) and Zachary (2/12/99).  We live in a small town called Leeds which is about 10 miles east of Birmingham.  I am the Accountant for Rock Wool Manufacturing Co.; a company that manufactures mineral wool insulation.  Steve is in the insurance business; he adjusted claims for twenty years and has now opened an independent insurance agency in Birmingham with his partner where they represent some 50+ multi-line companies.
