My short history of Life Since Roosey: 1986- My family (sister Penny and brother R.J.)
moved from PR to Riverside, California, where I finished high school. 1988-1992 - University of
San Diego 1992-1993 - Worked in Oregon as a newspaper reporter 1993-1995 - Back to school in
California to get my teaching credential 1995-1998 - Taught high school social studies in Vista,
California 1998-1999 - Master's degree in education from Harvard University 1999-present - I
work as an education consultant for a state senator in Sacramento. Nov. 10, 2001 - Married my
prince charming and best friend, Chris Marovich.  Roosevelt Roads is just one of many places
I've lived over the past 31 years, but for some reason it stays with me in a way that all the
other places don't.  Was it those impressionable years from 13 to 16?  Was it the people?  Or
maybe the horses? (just kidding).  Anyway, it's an amazing gift to be able to look through a
current email list and see all these names o!
 f people who've stayed in my memory all these years. It's good to know they're still out there.
